Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Data
From September 1st 2023, Dynamics 365 Customer Insights and Dynamics 365 Marketing are coming together, as one offering named Dynamics 365 Customer Insights. This is split into two apps; Data and Journeys.
The following page covers Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Data, and you can view more about Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys here.
What is Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Data?
Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Data is an AI-powered application designed to provide organisations with a comprehensive, end-to-end view of their customers. In turn, you can deliver personalised customer experiences and build those all-important relationships.
The application gathers data from across multiple channels including marketing campaign responses, loyalty schemes, social engagement, customer service interactions, and more.
In an era where embracing a customer-first approach is paramount, the Customer Insights platform empowers organisations to leverage customer data, gaining a deeper understanding of their audience. This understanding enables them to anticipate future actions, create personalised experiences across various touchpoints, and much more.
Features of Dynamics 365 Customer Insights - Data
360-degree view of your customers
Customer Insights – Data provides a 360-degree view of your customers across every touchpoint in real-time, including transactions, engagement and behaviour. Using built-in connectors, Customer Insights – Data ensures that all your relevant customer data is kept up to date and is presented as an individual profile. Each customer profile is strengthened with general audience data, market trends, and customer feedback to provide your teams with an overall picture.

Artificial Intelligence / Copilot
Copilot in Dynamics 365 Customer Insights is powered by AI, enabling you to have a dialogue with your data and get the answers you need. You can ask questions using natural language to understand your customer segment sizes, preferences and more.
By using conversational language, you can receive instant answers without any knowledge of SQL programming or having to spend time analysing data.
For example, as a marketer, you might want to identify customers who reside in Kent, England, with a high customer value, who have also made a purchase in the last 90 days and are likely to attend an event. In just a few clicks, Copilot produces the results along with additional information that may be useful, such as the customers’ average age, product preferences, or average purchase price.

Seamless integration with Customer Insights – Journeys
The integration between Customer Insights – Data and Customer Insights – Journeys means you can fully understand your client profile and interact in a personalised way, through a single solution.
